Frequent questions
Questions about the cost calculation.
Where do the salary figures in the calculator come from?
They are guide figures — median monthly gross, as of 09/2026 — from public salary reports: including the Hays Romania Salary Guide 2025, PwC PayWell 2025, HelloWorld.rs and Joberty (Serbia), Adecco/LHH (Spain) and StepStone 2026 (Germany). Employer contributions come from the PwC/KPMG Tax Summaries 2026. For a reliable figure on your specific role, we will give you the current range in the first call.
How is the Western Europe comparison calculated?
The reference is Germany — a representative high-cost market in Western Europe. We take a market-standard German gross salary for the same role and seniority at Frankfurt/Munich level (around 10 % above the national median) and add statutory employer costs of about 21 % (factor 1.213; fully loaded incl. U2 and accident insurance around 1.24). The comparison is all-in against all-in, not gross against gross. It is deliberately conservative — German recruiting, office and equipment costs are not included.
Is the fee linked to the salary level?
No. The monthly fee is a fixed amount per seat, independent of the salary. Salary and statutory employer contributions are passed through without a markup.
